Gale Gaines is vice president, State Services, and has been at SREB since 1987. She monitors K-12 and higher education legislation and budgets, and she was the author of the SREB Legislative Report for almost 20 years. She stays in contact with policy-makers and staff in the states and is responsible for a number of annual meetings and conferences. She also prepares reports on a number of key issues, including teacher salaries, and other topics as they arise in the SREB states.

Jeffrey Grove, research associate, joined SREB in 2006. He monitors K-12 and higher education legislative and budget issues, writes the SREB Legislative Report, which is released monthly during legislative sessions, assists in the preparation of annual meetings and conferences, and conducts research on other issues as they arise.

Linda Holly

Linda Holly, State Services associate, joined SREB in 1985. Linda maintains many of SREB mailing lists. In addition, she is responsible for meeting arrangements and correspondence. Linda is instrumental in the preparation of several meetings held annually.
