2007-2008 Professional Development Programs

These professional development programs have been prepared for state and school leaders and site teams from CSR, MMGW, Urban and the larger HSTW network.

SREB High Schools That Work and Making Middle Grades Work staff members use the results of student assessments given in grades eight and 12, the teacher survey and the student survey to determine professional development priorities for the school year. SREB builds professional development activities that support higher achievement for all students and that enable participants from across the network to more deeply implement the school improvement design.

SREB HSTW/MMGW will offer seven national workshops, two special conferences and two two-session leadership series in 2007–2008.
