Candice Buckley is a servant-leader who has dedicated over 17 years to increasing student enrollment and student success. Buckley is a graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, where she began her career in the Office of Admissions as an admissions recruiter. She continued to grow within the field of student affairs and later went to pursue a Graduate degree in higher education administration at Florida International University in Miami. There, she had the distinct privilege of working with campus life, Greek and fraternity life, and residence life and housing.

From there, Buckley has worked in various type of higher education institutions such as Florida State University, Spelman College and Georgia Piedmont Technical College in the Technical College System of Georgia. Her past roles have ranged from Campus Life director, director of Student Life & Engagement, dean of Student Affairs, and associate vice president of Student Affairs. In her 10 years of working with the Technical College System of Georgia, Buckley has acquired hands on experience managing the enrollment funnel, financial aid, registration, advising, international student admissions, veterans services, student activities, disability services and special populations. Buckley also supported many initiatives focused on increasing enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. She is currently the executive director of the Henry Center and director of Student Support Services for Southern Crescent Technical College and is also serving as the interim vice president of institutional advancement.
