Web Accessibility Statement

SREB is committed to making its website accessible to all users, regardless of any challenges they may face.

What Are We Doing?

We are working to increase the accessibility of our site so all users can have a positive and rewarding experience.

A digital accessibility plan will address existing issues and ensure future content is accessible. This plan will serve as a roadmap as we work to conform our web content to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, which define best practices and standards for web accessibility.

Accessibility Features

  • Alternative text detail for images (in progress): All images that are not used for decorative purposes will be assigned alt attributes and descriptive text.
  • Keyboard navigation: For visitors who do not use a mouse, our navigation menu and other page elements are fully navigable using the keyboard.
  • Resizing: Recent versions of popular browsers provide zoom capabilities that will scale any text and images on our web pages. For most browsers, zoom is usually accessed as follows:

Windows: Use ‘Control +’ or ‘Control -’

Mac: Use ‘Command +’ or ‘Command -’

Testing

As part of our ongoing efforts to make our web content fully accessible, we will routinely test the site using W3C compliant automated tools.
