Latoya Watson is a scholar-practitioner who has over 19 years of experience in higher education and education policy. She has served as a coordinator of multicultural recruitment, an academic advisor and most recently, assistant dean where she focused on student outcomes. She teaches undergraduate courses in Leadership. She also conducts workshops and conference presentations to empower attendees to lead change in their lives and others.  

Dr. Watson earned her Doctor of Educational Leadership and Master of Public Administration degrees from the University of Delaware. Her research as a master’s student was used each year to apply for federal funding in high needs areas and ultimately used to attain Race to the Top funding for the state of Delaware.
