As President of the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), Mosley represented over 27,000 members, advocating for innovative CTE practices nationwide. He has published extensively on CTE research and evaluation, delivered numerous workshops, and contributed to state and national assessments. Mosley’s expertise spans teaching, outreach, policy and research, bridging theory with practical applications to advance education. His work has been featured on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered and in USA Today.

Chaney Mosley serves as Director and Chair of the School of Agriculture and Associate Professor of Agricultural Education at Middle Tennessee State University. With over 20 years of experience in educational leadership, his work focuses on preparing future educators and advancing career and technical education (CTE). Mosley has designed innovative programs to enhance educator preparation, developed partnerships to strengthen career pathways and championed initiatives that align education with workforce needs.
