Dr. Daniel Jean is the CEO of Wordstravel LLC a consulting, edutainment and empowerment agency. He also serves as an Associate Provost at Montclair State University.

He has been featured/mentioned in the LA Times, NJ.com, PBS Newshour, Black Enterprise, Ebony Magazine, the Hechinger Report and Diverse Issues in Higher Education. He is the founder of PhinisheD/FinishEdD #WhoGotNext, an online community for over 24,000 future doctors and has presented 700+ seminars/keynotes, including for NASPA, ACPA, CSRDE, N-CORE, APLU, and NACADA, MIT, University of Maryland Baltimore County, University of Louisiana-Lafayette, Baruch College, The Fashion Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, University of South Florida, Western Kentucky University, Rutgers University, Meharry Medical College and Clemson University.

He has taught undergrad and grad courses in consulting, student development, transformative leadership and hip-hop culture. He is the author of, “I Am…I Will…” an action-based framework for identity development and personal and professional goal attainment.
