Chris Bailey joined SREB in 2022 as an instructional coach with Teaching To Lead.  Beginning his career as an agricultural education teacher, Chris has served as a CTE teacher, career development coordinator, assistant principal, principal and CTE Director in four North Carolina school districts.  He has served in various leadership roles with the North Carolina ACTE and the NC Administrative Division. 

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Council of Local Administrators for Career & Technical Education.  He was the recipient of the North Carolina CTE Administrator of the Year in 2019 and Region II Southeast US CTE Administrator of the Year in 2020.  Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education from North Carolina State University and a Masters of School Administration from East Carolina University.
