Daniel Rock joined the School Improvement team at SREB in 2013. As an instructional coach, he supports teachers, leaders and schools across the country as they work to improve learning outcomes for students at all levels. His work in schools focuses on literacy, building coaching models and sustaining continuous improvement teams. From 2014 to 2018, Daniel helped coordinate a grant that trained thousands of teachers across 13 states in designing quality literacy-based assignments.

Prior to SREB, Daniel worked as an instructional coach in DeKalb County Schools and as a literacy specialist with the Georgia Department of Education. In the classroom, Daniel taught English language arts, writing and drama in both Miami, Florida, where he grew up, and Atlanta, Georgia, where he now resides.
